During the strike in September/October 2005, a very limited “website” was established
to provide photographs of the strike to our members. An email (sent to members)
provided links to several galleries in the Yahoo Photo Gallery service.
Although it wasn’t really a website, it served our purposes for that time. A new website was established soon after the strike was
over using the personal webspace allocated to the ATU Local 1320
internet account. It didn’t take long before we outgrew that limited
space. On November 16, 2005, we contracted for a much larger
webspace and our own domain name (atu1320.org). Our site was transferred to the new space on that same
day. This webspace provides us
with a lot more space and versatility.
It also affords us access to a wealth of stastics
regarding the usage our website and usage patterns of those who visit it.
Enjoy the wide variety of features included in this space. This website is a valuable forum for our membership. Since it continues to change and evolve on a frequent basis, please come back often to see what’s
new.
